Christmas Cards Keepsake
Every year my family receives anywhere between 30 and 50 Christmas cards from our family and friends and in the recent years I’ve wanted to find a way to have a Christmas card keepsake or storage idea.
Today, I’m sharing a quick tutorial on how you can to save all of those cards year to year.
First gather all of your cards you received this year, and stack them with the fronts facing to you. Largest cards towards the bottom and back of the stack and the smaller ones towards the front.
Next, Gather a hole punch and some leftover Christmas ribbons. I purchased my ribbons from Target’s 70-90% off rack this year. So for about $1.50, I have a ton of ribbon for next year, and so fun ribbons for this project. I cus about 14-16 inches of each ribbon. Since my ribbon came all on one spool, I cut all at once. You can use as little or as much ribbon as you want.
Then, once you have your ribbons, tie them together on to an old keychain and secure with a smaller piece of ribbon.
Then, take your hole punch (like this one) and punch into the cards. I punch in the upper third location of the cards. Not all cards are the exact same size and shape. so you will want to find a central place where each card can be punched.
And there you have it! A simple card booklet to store and display next year on your coffee table or entry way table!
Keep a collection of all of your favorite cards year to year, or create Christmas Card keepsake books and add photos from the season. It really is endless, and over the years you can look back and see all the warm wishes from your friends and family.

I think next year I will get a bigger ring and add to my favorites collection. What do you do with your Christmas Cards? Do you keep them or toss em’? Hopefully this inspires you to do something other than the latter.
