15 Easy Easter Treats To Make
Every Easter part of my larger extended family gets together for our annual family Easter Egg Hunt. It is typically held in the afternoon, after Sunday Easter service and after lunch and everyone brings an Easter Treat.
In the past, we used to wear our most fancy dresses to the afternoon event, and I have many childhood memories of greeting my Grandma Rose all dressed up in a dress carrying my Easter basket.

“My babies, oh my babies are here” she would chant as my brother and I entered the home where it was being hosted. To this day, as our family has grown, and some have passed, including my wonderful Grandma Rose, we still carry on this tradition with the family and friends who choose to attend.
One of the things we do is have dessert every year while the “egg hiders” hide all the eggs for the kids.
I am obviously no longer an egg hunter, but I bring my kids to this event who are the new “egg hunters”, and now I am one of the moms who makes and brings dessert.
What Kind of Dessert?
Over the years as I great out of the egg hunter stage and prior to having children, I started to bring store-bought cookies and cakes. And while they were good to eat, there is just not any flare to them.
