Cinco de Mayo Crafts You Can Make
Who doesn’t love tacos? Every Tuesday my kids ask for tacos because it is “Taco Tuesday” to them at least. I am not sure where or how this started but making tacos for dinner in our family is at least a one-time a week kind of thing.
So naturally, celebrating Cinco de Mayo is on the list of fun things to share with my kiddos and I thought it would be fun it we got a little festive with it. I plan to make some decorations and crafts, to celebrate the holiday and Mexican culture.
Cinco de Mayo
Cinco de Mayo may be a national holiday primarily celebrated in Mexico, but it’s also become a pretty popular celebration in the United States as well.
This holiday celebrates the victory of the Mexican people at the Battle of Puebla back in 1862, but has since become an annual celebration of all things related to Mexican culture.
While you’re celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a taco or margarita in hand, it can also be fun to do some crafts with your family! I’ve rounded up some pretty awesome Cinco de Mayo-related crafts that you can re-create.
These crafts are a fantastic way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and there is a craft for every age here!

Making Crafts & DIYs
My favorite place to craft is in my craft room in front of my Dreambox. I love the Dreambox because it holds all of my craft supplies and they are easy to get to within an arms reach.
Here’s a picture of my craft room – on one of its more cleaner days. I love this piece of Furniture because it is inspirational to me and gets me excited about all the possibilities of what I can make.
