DIY Splatter Screen Wreath
I love changing up the decor on my front door with every season and holiday. It is very simple and easy to do plus, you can quickly change it with just a simple wreath or door hanger.
I also hang my wreaths on the inside of my front door. I do it this way for two reasons. The first reason being that, by hanging it on the inside it stays nice. I do not have to worry about the weather ruining my wreath which also means I can use materials that might not be as durable for the outside when making it.
I also do not have to worry about frogs or any other critters jumping into my wreath trying to find shelter or a nest. This in itself is a double win in my book.
Second, I get to enjoy the wreath in all its glory – not strangers, delivery drivers, or neighbors I may or may not even know. Ha ha.
It’s not that I don’t like to have to curb appeal at my front door, I do. However, when it comes to wreaths and floral decor on my door, I like it kept inside. Doormats, and signage can still remain outside!
Making a Splatter Screen Wreath
The video below shows my entire process form start to finish using a Dollar Tree splatter screen as my wreath form.
Before you begin you will need to gather your materials to create this wreath.
Once you have all the materials you will need to set up an area to create. The dining room table or your craft table is a great place. I made this in front of my Dreambox cabinet as it has all my supplies within the craft storage cabinet at an arms reach.

Directions:
To start off making this splatter screen wreath, remove the knob. I chose the screen with the knob, but you can use the handle one and work on it upside down. You can even use the handle as a way to hang the wreath.
Then you can choose to paint the screen or leave as is. I left as is and began adding my floral picks and decor.
I also painted a wood truck to create a center focal point. You can use any thing you want for the focal point, or any sign or decor from the Dollar Tree.
Then begin by adding floral picks with your hot glue gun.
Continue this until you have covered the splatter screen to your liking.
Lastly, attach a tie or ribbon to the top through the screen to hang the splatter screen from your door or somewhere in your home.
