Farmhouse Sign Using Chalk Paint
I really love a good farmhouse sign and farmhouse decor trickled within my home. We don’t live on a farm nor do we have major land, but I love the simple design of the modern farmhouse style that is clean and timeless. I find myself adding it throughout my home everywhere. And I really love farmhouse glam. flexoffers
A couple of months ago I purchased a kit from a newer company called Chalk Couture. Because I am a crafty girl and love all the crafty things, I just had to see what it was all about, and I fell in love with creating quick and easy chalk painted signs, and even more specifically, farmhouse-like signs.
Today, I want to share with you a quick and simple sign that I have made for my home. And because I run a crafty shop, I have sold this sign several times at markets that I just had to share this one with you.
I actually went live on my Facebook Page sharing exactly how I created this sign in under 15 minutes using Chalk Couture products. So hope on over to the Facebook page and watch the replay!
*Note: I no longer am a Chalk Couture designer. You can purchase chalk paint here for the same results.
I just love how simple and easy it is to do and there is hardly any mess. The templates make it easy. They are actually silk screen stencils that can be used over and over. So not only, do you NOT waste materials, as opposed to vinyl, you can also create the exact same design over and over again.
The blank signs you can get here, but they are pricey so sometimes it may be best to make your own or get a different kind of wood sign blank. If you’d like a tutorial on this, I have been wanting to do one for way less money. Let me know if you are interested and I will work on a post to do that.
This is a good thing if you are looking to start a shop or craft selling side hustle, then getting started with chalk paint is super easy and almost a no brainer if you want to make signs.
If you are looking for a side hustle to make extra cash on making signs, and you are a little crafty or basically a crafty beginner…. then you could easily make these signs and sell them as a designer with Chalk Couture. They are becoming increasingly popular.
NOTE: I am no longer a Chalk Couture designer.Â
And lastly… for those of you aren’t crafty at all, but you want this cute sign for yourself, a gift or for your home, you can order one directly from my shop here.
