Paint Dollar Tree Pumpkins to make your home decor and create the perfect Fall vignette. These wood pumpkins are perfect for crafting and creating adorable DIY home decor.Â
I love the Dollar Tree for inexpensive crafting supplies to make the cute decor. Especially when it comes to the Fall and Winter seasons.
I picked up a few wooden Dollar Tree Pumpkins to makeover and include with my current Fall decor.
ÂI was able to show three different ways that you can use paint to create adorable pumpkins.
I made a video of my process which you can watch below.
Once you have all the materials you will need to set up an area to create. The dining room table or your craft table is a great place. I made this in front of my Dreambox cabinet as it has all my supplies within the craft storage cabinet at an arms reach.

Painting the Dollar Tree Pumpkins
- Dollar Tree woodcraft Pumpkins
- Acrylic or Chalk paints
- Paintbrushes
- water and paper towels for cleaning
When you first start to paint your pumpkins decide on a theme or way you like to go.
You can choose neutral tones or crazy vibrant colors.
In the video above, I did both options to show just a few of the ways you can make them turn out.
Here is a look at the neutral tone pumpkins that I ended up finishing off with a bow. I placed these in my kitchen because a lot of things I have in the kitchen are white.
And here is a look at the vibrant striped painted pumpkin that I did. I also ended up adding a rafia bow to this one and a Dollar Tree burlap leaf. I finished the bow off with a button in the center to cover the pipe cleaner I had tieing off the bow.
Lastly, I added one sprig of a Fall branch I had leftover from the tablescape project I did. Then I placed this at my coffee bar and I really love how it looks there.
The entire coffee bar has a “pumpkin spice” sort of theme going on and the teal colors and mix of the painted buffalo check pattern really makes the space pop.
It really was unintentional, and it just sort of came together. I love it when that happens!
What do you think? Would you paint pumpkins to add to your decor??
