I’ve been decorating my home for Fall and recently, I decided to make a Fall banner using some scrap materials I had in the confines of my craft room.

Make A DIY Fall Banner
I recently shared my process for creating a cute banner for Fall and you can check out the video below.
 Â
in this video to see how I have it set up!
- Wood or Cardboard pendant banner shapes to create the main pieces of the banner
- Jute twine to string the pieces together.
- Scrapbook paper
- mod podge or glue
- letters
- fabric scraps
- any additional embellishments you want to add
Making the DIY Fall Banner
I first started making this banner by gluing on apply my scrapbook paper to my wood banner pieces. I traced them on the back of the scrapbook paper and then cut it out.
Using the mod podge glue the paper onto the banner.
Then I used my Silhouette to cut our letters to spell the word Fall. You can do any word, however, I like the word Fall because it was short and simple.
If you do not have a Silhouette machine, these letters are easy enough to cut out by hand.
Once the letters are cut, glue them on the banner pieces. Then add your detailing and string together.
Lastly, add stripes of fabric scraps in between each piece.
What do you think? Would you create one of these for your home?
