I have rounded up some of the bestĀ Thanksgiving Menu Ideas to share with your friends and family this year. Every year, I look forward to the start of the holidays. For me, that is just before Thanksgiving.
The stores start putting out decorations including all the trimmings to go with your holiday table.
One thing I have trouble with is food ideas and recipes that are not only good but also pretty and full of flavor.
I struggle with cooking. It is not my first or even my second or third talent. It isĀ way down on the list of traits I like to think I am even semi-good at.
And while, over the last year I have managed to come up with some pretty good edible dishes for my family, when it comes to preparing food for several people I get nervous. EspeciallyĀ when it surrounds a holiday like Thanksgiving. I get intimidated.

I know I do. And so in my attempts to be a little more than prepared this year, I have gathered up some delicious mouth watering savory Thanksgiving menu ideas to help us all out with our food dishes this year.
The Best Turkey and Ham Recipes
First Up is, of course, the turkey!
My friend over at From A Pantry as a yummyĀ Instant Pot Turkey Breast With Garlic Butter that is low carb, Keto friendly and gluten free. It doesn’t get any better than this, and specifically why I listed it first.

Now that we have the meats covered, I want to share with you all of my favorites and savory side dishes to go with either turkey or ham or both.
Favorite Sides to Serve with Turkey and Ham
Potatoes:Ā There are so many potatoes to choose from but here are some tried and true favorites. Scalloped Maple Sage Sweet Potatoes, Sweet Potato Casserole, Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes, the Best mashed potatoes,Ā traditionalĀ sweet potatoes, and this paleo sweet potato recipe.
Veggies:Ā Any kind of roasted or seasoned veggies are great but here are a few of my favorites. Corn Casserole, Creamed Corn, Creamed Corn, Kabocha Squash, glazed carrots, cauliflower and spinach salad, green bean casserole, bacon wrapped brusselĀ sprouts and candied yams.
Classic Holiday Sides:Ā Mac and cheese, gluten-free stuffing,Ā Cherry Sauce, Cranberry sauce, apple bacon dressing, Apple Carmel cheese ball,Ā Ā classic deviled eggs and gravy like this apple cider gravy recipe.
Bread & Rolls:Ā Jiffy Cornbread, Cranberry muffins, and dinner rolls.
Once you have finished the main meal the one thing you cannot forget is the dessert. This can be tricky because expectations are often high for tasty treats.
In my family, there is always a favorite that seems to be eaten real quick. That’s how you know whether or not the dessert is a real winner. No actual votes are cast, just the sign of a clear dish tells it all.
