Back to School Banner Printable
The Summer days have ended and my kiddos have already headed back to school. In Florida, they go back early compared to other states.
As those Summer days come to end, I start to put away the Summer decor in our home. Usually, I just leave the house plainly decorated.
Meaning there is no theme other than the cool grays I use throughout the house. Normally this does not bother me. And I kind of like it to see it sort of plain sometimes.
Don’t get me wrong… I love living seasonally, decorating my home with the seasons. In Florida, we do not really have seasons, really just Summer, Super Hot Summer, and a little bit of Fall mixed with Hurricanes and maybe 1-3 days of Winter.
It is like Florida doesn’t know how to behave among the adults of weather, and is basically throwing a tantrum as the seasons’Â change.
Nonetheless, I’m a Florida girl born and raised and well, some of us have learned to just deal with the toddler weather of Florida. We still decorate and dress like we have all four seasons.
Thus living seasonally.
And since the Summer things were put away, and it was just too early to break out my Fall I decided to create a little Back to School Motif to our coffee bar situation to bridge the gap in seasons.
And I’m sharing it with you today – all you have to do is download it, print and cut and you are all set.
Back To School Banner Printable and Cut File
Silhouette Users can also get the Silhouette files and if you use a Cricut I have the SVG file too. All of which are saved in the Resource Library for subscribers. However, if you like to create your own, you can find school clipart online.
I decided to add cardstock behind my print file which you can do the same. I happen to have this gold strip cardstock from last year. I found some similar here!Â
Just Print and load to cut if you have a Silhouette or Cricut.
Or if you do not have a cutting machine. You can cut by hand then glue or tape to cardstock.
Since
After I laminated it, I laid out the order of my letters and cute school clipart pieces. I found some string and cut holes at the top corners of each pendant. Then, I just strung together. Super cute and fun!!
I plan to use this banner in the years to come, and decorate with it in this in-between time of Summer and Fall, I decided to laminate my banner to last longer.
This is super cute and kind of gives our coffee station a little bit of fun as the kids head back to school.
I will probably leave this little area decorated for the first 1-2 to weeks of school and then slowly start decorating for Fall.
