I love the Summer months home. Well, except for the extremely hot days. Luckily for us, we do have a pool that we can jump right into which is nice on a Summer day. But what I love most during the Summer is the sort-of slowed down schedule because I get a little bit more time to focus on crafts! Call me crazy, but it is true. I love crafting, and Summertime helps me recharge and think of the things to craft and create ahead!
I have gathered up some of my favorite Patriotic crafts + DIYs from all over the web and am sharing them with you today! his post contains some affiliate links for your convenience (which means if you make a purchase after clicking a link I will earn a small commission but it is at no additional cost to you)! Read my full disclosure here.
Patriotic Crafts + DIYs
Emily forms Hunny I am Home has a super cute toilet paper roll Confetti Poppers perfect for kids who want to see a little burst and sparkle on 4th of July without all the spark and fire flecks that sparklers may bring. They are super cute and you can even let the kids create and decorate their own special poppers.
And if you are hosting a meal for any of these fun Summer holidays, Julie has an awesome idea for your napkins. She shares on her blog Crowning Details how to spray paint napkins for your table. Take a look below at how awesome her table setting is with these cute star-spangled napkins.
Before you can welcome your guests to your table, you will welcome them at your front door. And Marianna shows you how to create these awesome stars and stripes flip flop wreaths that are sure to wow your guests when they arrive.
I also really like this paper rosebud flower wreath form the Purple Pumpkin blog. It is super cute and fun!
A super fun thing to create for your guests who might be children is Patriotic slime! This is sure to be a fun crowd pleaser among the little ones. Simple Everyday Mom Sam shares her tips to create the fun magical slime.
And if the slime is a little too bit too much fun for you and your home, you could also make these cute patriotic flag wands. I can see it now with several kiddos running around in the back yard waving their flag ribbon wands!
Angela also shares her DIY Star wands that are printable. These are super cute and I just had to share how simple they are.
Decorating for 4th of July
When it comes to decorating inside your home for the holiday, I love simple and easy ideas like a printable that I can easily change in and out of frames. Megan shares her printable designs on her blog that would look great with any home or decor. I really love her outdoor display showing how she used them.
ArtsyFartsy Mama shares her printable firework flextangle which is super cute and adorable. The kids will love creating this freebie.
She also shares her cute favor box, perfect for all of your 4th of July Independence day party guests.
Patriotic Crafts You Can Wear
I also love the kinds of crafts and DIYs that you can wear. Creating something for your own personal wardrobe is so much fun. It makes your style unique and one of a kind. Lindsey has a really cute SVG cut file you can download from her blog to re-create this firecracker shirt.Â
Need a necklace to make your outfit complete? Dawn shares a super cute DIY necklace that you can easily create to add a little red, white and blue to any outfit. And Lindsay has a cute DIY for the little girl in your life! How cute is this little tank and necklace?
Take a look at this cute fun Patriotic DIY pinwheel wreath from Fleece Fun. Looks super cute and easy to make.
I also love this rustic cork American flag form Pink Fortitude. This is a simple and easy DIY decor item you can make. A little hot glue, twine, and some wine and you are good to go with this DIY.
And lastly, here is a wood sign that I think looks great. Chelsea painted the flag red, white, and blue. I love the way this looks!
