Wood Ball Wreath
I have been wanting to make a wood ball wreath for a very long time, and I finally created one to go along with my Christmas decor this year. And it was probably one of the easiest wreaths I’ve made.
I recently shared my process for making this DIY Wooden Ball Wreath for Christmas on my Facebook page where I go live showing new craft ideas. If you don’t follow me there, I’d love to have you over there in our community. I am also sharing new craft ideas.
Below is the video I created showing my process.
Once you have all the materials you will need to set up an area to create. The dining room table or your craft table is a great place. I made this in front of my Dreamboxcabinet as it has all my supplies within the craft storage cabinet at an arms reach.

Materials Needed:
- Cardboard Ring base (I found mine at hobby lobby)
- Split wood balls – Get 2″inch in size
- Floral picks
- Embellishments
- Glue and hot glue gun
Making The Wood Ball Wreath
To make this split ball wreath choose where you want the top to be to fill with your florals. By not covering the entire cardboard ring it allows for using less wooden split balls and a wider space for the florals you intend to place towards the top.
I decided to place the wooden balls on first and then add my florals. Then using hot glue to secure everything in place it seemed to become more solid as it came together.
Then I added the vintage bells and ribbon bow.
I absolutely loved the way this turned out.
Here is a look at it and how it turned out. It looks amazing hanging on my front door.
What do you think? Would you make one of these?
