Welcome to my Fall Home Tour!
I hope you find inspiration through this post to help you decorate your own home. I didn’t use to always decorate for Fall. In fact, I only used to decorate my home with year-round decor only with the exception of Christmas where I’d put up one tree in the corner of my living room.
I remember thinking that anything more than this and at any other season or holiday just seemed like a ton of work. And I used to wonder why anyone would want to do anything differently.
 Â
However, over the years, I have developed my own version of living seasonally. Somewhere between my 20 something self and my 30 something self, becoming a mother, growing spiritually and gaining more maturity I’ve developed a love for decor that changes with the seasons.
In recent years my collection of things for Fall have grown using creativity and DIY to make our house a home. I always try to create a beautiful home that is inviting and cozy for my family. Here is a quick video walkthrough of my favorite spaces.
Most of these spaces are our common areas such as the living and dining and kitchen areas. These spaces are the spaces within our home to which I change up the decor.

Fall Decor
I shared my Fall Floral decor and how I used floral stems from last year and this year into creating this beautiful arrangement in our foyer. I love walking by it. It sits in this corner alcove just off the foyer, and just before the entrance to our master bedroom.
Here’s a look at another Floral decor arrangement I created using mostly items from the Dollar Tree. The m Â
I also shared in the video fabric pumpkins. Last year I DIYed a buffalo check Dollar Tree pumpkin. However, this year my favorite pumpkins were the velvet pumpkins I picked up from Dollar Tree that you saw in the video.
Just off the formal living room sits this cute trio of DIY pumpkins I made. This was one of my first DIYs for Fall this year, and I absolutely love the way they turned out!

Decorating for the Holidays
I used to only decorate typically for the season’s Fall, Winter-Christmas, and Spring-Summer. This meant I changed up the decor in my home about 3 times a year. Which is not too bad when you are first starting out to decorating and living seasonally.
Living seasonally is also not just decorating though, it is actually something you intertwine throughout your day to day when it comes to the seasons. I can explain more on this in another post or video if requested. But to give you an idea, it is about doing small bucket list items related to the season to help you sort to live your best life this season, whatever season it may be.
However, over the years my desire to live seasonally has developed and I now decorate or change my home’s decor more frequently to the holidays.
No, I do not decorate EVERY SINGLE HOLIDAY, but I do most.
Just last year I added Halloween decor because my kiddos asked for it. If it were just me, I’d decorate Fall only and call it good until Christmas. But, since part of my own personal philosophy is to embrace the days and seasons we live, I now decorate for Halloween while my kids still want to be apart of the fun it.
This is too a season I am living in and I know one day, they will be older and could care less.
So for now, it is Fall decor and next week I will be adding the Halloween in and sharing that as well.
Pretty soon, it will be time to Deck the Halls which is my absolute favorite!

Thanks for the inspiration. Love the fabric pumpkins. It is definitely time for me to get on the ball and get my house fall ready. I love decorating this time of year but have been putting it off.
