Buffalo Check Entry Way
First up is a buffalo check rug! I personally have this on my wish list. I haven’t quite figured where I will put it just yet. Maybe I will put it in the front interior side of my front door.
I have just loved seeing it all over Instagram with how others are using the rug! You can’t beat the price on this one either! Look how cute Kayla from around the River Bend style hers!
Next is my recent favorite thing! This buffalo check plaid table runner. This is perfect on the console table that sits behind our couch.
I added a wooden tray and some light greens and gray pumpkins to it with cotton. The perfect modern fall farmhouse trend. What do you think? I think the table runner is super cute.
Living Room Decor
Of course, opposite of this is my couch, and I just had to update a few of my pillows with the buffalo check plaid pattern as well.
This pattern is a staple like I mentioned above. I have been using buffalo check within my fall decor. Once it is time to decorate for Christmas, I plan to swap out the tans and oranges with reds and greens to my decor.
Pillow covers are a great way to inexpensively update your pillows for a fraction of the cost of brand new pillows.
And I am just loving these buffalo check curtains by At Home With Rita. These just look stunning in her dining area. I am seriously thinking of adding buffalo check curtains to one of our sliders or windows in our home. I love the way they look and pop in a room.
Buffalo Check Ribbon is also a great way to add a subtle splash of the fun plaid pattern in your home.
I love the way the buffalo check ribbon was added to this scale. If you like the farmhouse style you know that those Rae Dunn pots and boxwood greenery make this tablescape gorgeous.
In the kitchen, I love the pops of buffalo check dish towels. These dish towels are super cute. You can add with orange towels in the fall, or red and green dish towels in the Winter for a Christmas farmhouse look. I picked up some of buffalo check dish towels.
Here’s my Buffalo check wreath I created with a magnolia wreath and ribbon!
Look at the “BOO” banner I added to my magnolia wreath for Halloween.
I might even have to change it out for this adorable reindeer head to put in the center. You can even use an ornament to center inside a wreath like this cute deer head is an ornament.
Speaking of seasonal decor that you can pair up with buffalo check home decor is this awesome storage bucket. IT comes in two sizes. This is great for regular storage as shown with a throw and some magazines.
I was thinking how cute this would be if you toted all of your family and friends presents in this bin to all of the Christmas parties and events you attend. Super trendy and easy to carry! I just love these buffalo check bins.
The chair will pair up nicely with this lampshade on a natural wood base! Super cute.
I also picked up these adorable buffalo check stockings for the holiday season and I just cannot wait to hang them!
Buffalo Check for the Holidays
We updated our tv mantle area this past Spring and all I could think about while we were completing was how I was going to decorate the space for Christmas. These buffalo check stockings will definitely be hung there!

And lastly, what kind of crafter would I be if I didn’t add a way for you to create your own buffalo check pattern! This stencil is the best!
I can already think of several ways to DIY some buffalo check plaid home decor items in my home. You could use this to create wall art, or even on fabric or a tote! Totally adorable!
